CREMATIONS
At Pet Cremations of Erie we specialize in private pet cremations which is the only method that ensures that the complete and individual cremains of your pet are returned to you.

Once your pet is received at our facility the cremation process will be completed within 24  hours. The remains will then be returned to you in the form of ashes placed in a standard metal urn (usually the next day). If you prefer you may choose one of our specialty urns for an additional charge. [PRODUCTS] Along with your pet’s cremains we will provide you with a certificate of cremation, a paw print and fur clipping.

We also offer communal cremations. This means several pets are placed in the crematory together. With this method there is no return of ashes.

VISITATION
If you and other family members, including pets, would like to spend some time with your deceased pet for a final good-bye before the cremation process we welcome you to do so. Many pet owners find this as comforting as they would with any other family member. This is possible for both private and communal cremations.

WITNESSED CREMATION
We offer pet owners who choose private cremations the opportunity to view the actual cremation of their pet in a comfortable room we designed specifically for this purpose. We understand some people may find this too difficult but for others it helps them to see for themselves that their beloved companion is being treated with compassion and dignity. An appointment must be made ahead of time and there is an additional fee of $50.

TRANSPORTATION Whether your pet is euthanized at your veterinarian’s office or dies unexpectedly at home we will make every effort for a prompt pick-up. If you wish to bring your pet to us yourself you are welcome to do so but please phone ahead to make sure we are available to assist you.
